A Happy Poem
I've written a thousand poems for my broken heart
But I never thought of having to start
A poem about happiness
And all the things that gods bless
I sit here as I wait for something
Waiting for anything
Happy so I can write
More than just about fear and fright
But nothing comes to my lonely mind
Happy thoughts, I try to find
But all that's left is you
All I think about is you
But darling, you left me all alone
In a place far away from home
Where even the daylight gives me shivers
And the tears I cried has formed lotsa rivers
So a happy poem, I cannot write
For all I feel is fear and fright
And from these thoughts I cannot part
Because I only write from the heart
Sorry for the misleading title.

A Half and Three
Should I stay or should I go?
Should I wait or is it a no?
When everything you have is lost
And you'll pay at any cost
After all these years
And all the bitter tears
You're still the one I'm after
I still wanna hear your laughter
Should I stay and try to wait?
And try to hope that fate
Will bring us back together
And that love will stay forever?
Should I go because it's a no
Even if I still love you so?
And forget all about the past
Accept that it was never meant to last
But how can I decide
When I still feel for you inside?
When I love you still
And wait for you I will
I guess I will, I will wait
And just trust in fate
That she may bring you back to me
And there'll be more years than a half and three

A Poem
I was told to write a poem
So I asked, what kind of poem?
My teacher said, “anything”
Which left me thinking
Should I write a happy one?
Or should I write a sad one?
Because it really is hard to write
When you don't know which topic is right
So I think and think and think
But all I do is blink
I come out empty handed
But I don't want teacher to be disappointed
So I just write here what I feel
Yes, teacher, this is for real
Here's the poem you asked me to write
I hope it turned out alright
I was lying in bed one night with a a pad of paper and a pen in front of me. A question popped in my head "What would I write if a teacher suddenly asked me to write a poem?" The answer lays above.

A Wandering Soul
Right now I just can't move on
I can't turn away from this song
The reason why I've kept holding on
Has been gone for so long
The tears that I have shed
Are now dry and lifeless
As I lay curled on my bed
Thinking of a way to get out of this mess
When all I do is cry
And sob until there's no more
When all I remember is goodbye
Could I just close the door?
Because pain is taking over me
It's not like I wanted this
But still, every memory
Reminds me of how we used to kiss
Sometimes I feel like my heart is drowning
And no one can save it
From all the hurt and beatings
I will try to revive it
When everything I wanted is gone
I am just a wandering soul
Looking for a reason to hold on
But I am just another ghoul
The reason for my existence has left me
Nothing but memories are left
They forever haunt me
Like a song starting with a g clef
I'm no longer who I used to be
Time heals? I hope it does
Because I don't want people to remember me
As someone who eats dust
This heart will not remain broken
At least I hope it doesn't
Time will come when it will be unbroken
And to love you more? I wouldn't

A Wish
My heart is crying but the tears won't fall
Dreaming of the days when I had it all
When I had you here by my side
How I feel, it's no use to hide
Tears, why won't you fall?
Why haven't you fallen through it all?
Through the sadness and the tears
That no one but me hears
Deep inside I wish I could
Have another chance, if you would
Grant me with this one wish I have
Just one wish I desire to have
This is a wish I've known since the day
I decided to throw your love away
A wish that would bring me happiness
And take away years of sadness
A wish that only you could ever grant
A wish I'd run to catch till I can barely pant
A wish that only I could want
A wish only my mouth could rant
But before I tell you, I want you to know
If you don't want to read it, you can just go
Because rejection is a hurtful thing
That only you and your no could bring
This wish I will say only once
Then maybe I shall fall into a trance
And never wake up unless
To this wish, you say yes
I wish for your love once more
And that when I open the door
I'll see you there smiling at me
Just like the way it should be
Let us forget about the past
Let's make none of those things last
Please, let us start anew
But will this happen? I ain't got a clue
If ever you refuse to grant it
Then just crumple this paper and throw it
Out the window or in the trash can
Or burn it, because only you can
Throw it away so no one will see
The burden that forever haunts me
Maybe in the end you'll see
There's no one for you but me
But that is just a maybe
Wishful thinking that maybe what used to be
Will happen once more
And on love's wings we'll soar
But dreams are far from reality
Miles apart from what it really should be
And right now, I'll just hold on to this
I'll just hold on to another lonely wish
Dedicated to someone.

Above The Stars
I lay on the grass, underneath the stars
Soon I began to sleep, soon I began to fly
But not too far
I flew, up in the sky
Through clouds and midnight stars
I flew up, but not too high
Maybe I'd come to where you are
But I began to weep, I began to cry
I was going too fast, high above the stars

Aching Soul
At first I thought it was a mirror
I saw my face, my eyes staring
Staring into dark nothing
But then I was filled with terror, such horror
My skin was pale, pale as ever
Who did this? Very clever
A pool of blood on my chest
Stabbed me where it was best
The stars shone brightly
On the moonlit sky above me
It was supposed to be a pretty sight
But maybe it wasn't that night
I lay there on the ground
Thinking of what I've found
I was dead, lifeless
My soul, spirits shall bless
Then you, dear, came to my mind
You, I seek to find
I just had to say goodbye
Just once, I won't even cry
My nonexistent heart began to ache
I'm still here, that I cannot fake
I wished upon a star
To tell me where you are
So I flew across the city
But it was such a pity
I thought this was going to be hard for you
But now I know it's only hard for me, don't you?
Because I saw you there under the shadows
My heart has been hit by a thousand arrows
For there you were across the land
Crying, with the knife that killed me in one hand

Can I
Can I just die
That I may say goodbye
To the people who love me so
Struggling so hard to let go
Because this pain, I can no longer endure
Of that, I am sure
This pain I cannot bear
Knowing that you don't care
But to let go of life, I cannot
In hell, I'd rather not rot
And it cheers to think that maybe
Someone out there still needs me
A lonely summer night. Texted the first line to someone.

Do You?
Do you know what it feels like
When no one understands you?
Do you know what it feels like
When everything falls before your eyes?
Do you know what it feels like
When you can't do anything?
Do you know what it feels like
To watch someone dying?
Do you know what it feels like
To see him happy with someone else?
Do you know what it feels like
To want to turn back time?
Cause when no one understands
When everything falls before you
And there's nothing you can do
As you watch someone die
It's the worst feeling, I tell you
When you want to help
But you can't
And you're full of regrets
Sometimes I just wanna go back
Turn back the hands of time
And maybe, just maybe
You'd come back to me
But I don't see how that could happen
When everything has been said and done
When everything has been lost
When all that's left of us are painful memories
Sometimes I just want to take it back
So it wouldn't hurt like this
But pondering upon those times
Maybe I shouldn't think like that
Because it was very much worth it
Very much worth it

Him
It still hurts, if you want to know
Why? Because I still love you so
But still, I'm not letting go
Only if you want to know
Sometimes I find it strange
Why my love for you will never change
I guess it'll forever be a mystery
The love that set this curse on me
August 6, that's the date
That was when we promised to wait
For each other's perfect time
The time you will become mine
A long wait, I might have thought
But up until now, your love I have sought
Sometimes I think of giving up
As I sip coffee from the teacup
You are my wish, my only dream
I'll look at you and think “It's him.”
Him who I wanna be with forever
Please don't say it's a never
Because for you, I'll endure
Of that, I am sure
But isn't it a waste of time
To wait for someone who'll never be mine?
But that is just nonsense
I'll just count the days, maybe in tens
That you will come back to me
In ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty...

Just
Just about three months ago
I would've done anything I could
To forget and let you go
While on my feet I stood
And I did that, I let you go
But forget, that's what I couldn't
Why is it that when you want to go solo
You suddenly wish that you didn't?
Just about two months ago
I was happy to be free
But that's what I thought so
Now, the memories haunt me
I was supposed to be happy
And it was a stupid thought
For how could that be
When you're gone? I should have fought
Just about one month ago
I realized I wanted you back
But you had to go
And I was supposed to pat your back
I'd do almost anything
Just to have you by my side
But I can't do anything
So I'll set those thoughts aside
Just three days ago
I happened to come home
And see the places we loved to go
But where is my heart? Where is home?
They say home is where the heart is
But where is my heart now?
Give me my heart back, please
You have stolen it somehow
Just an hour ago
I hated you for being mean
How could you say no?
Could it be a sin?
Just a second ago
I was thinking what to type
And should I give it a go
Or should I just forget all the hype?
But now, I want nothing more
Than to have you here by my side
And tell you that you're who I live for
And set every hurt I've been feeling aside
But there's nothing I can do
For I was a fool
Now I realize all I want is you
How can I keep my cool?
You're all I ever wanted
You're all I ask for
But what was once special has been wasted
And what was once whole is now scattered on the floor

Meant to Be
For days, I've pushed you away
Made you suffer night and day
I've shown how much I hated you
And gave you only words of few
I thought I was happy
Just having fun and being merry
But my heart deceived me
Temporary feelings fooled me
I made myself believe I can survive without you
Survive without us two
But it was just deceitful
Why is life so cruel?
I thought I could just throw away
The love we shared everyday
And now you've come to change your mind
I can't believe I was left behind
Because pride got the best of me
Almost forgetting every memory
How is it that you could easily move on?
And forget the reasons you had to hold on?
Loving you, I thought, was easy to forget
And now I'm full of regret
Chasing every memory
When you and I were still meant to be
If I could turn back the time
I'd grab time's hands and make you mine
And it would make my dream come true
My dream, to share forever with only you
But some things cannot be taken back
Especially once you've turned your back
To everything we've ever had
And it has left me feeling sad
Who knew that after three years and a half
Our love would just be a reason to laugh
But also a reason to cry and hide
From the feelings we still feel inside
You still love me, yes, you do
But not enough for you
To change your mind and come back to me
Maybe we just weren't meant to be

My Love For You Will Remain
Kissing in the rain we wanted to try
But we never did, I wonder why
If given another chance, I'd like to give it a try
But it's too late now, if I only knew
That you'd only stay before the day is new
And set off with a hyped sinew
Days have passed, you're not coming back
All you left is an empty rack
And taken all of your clothes along with a sack
But I never lose hope, if you wanna know
Someday we'll see each other when we go
And sail away to the land of snow
I love you, baby, that'll never change
Because I know that everything will change
But still my love for you will remain

My Love Will Never End
My love for you has endured so much
And yet it is not enough
For you still found someone else
To love even after everything
Sometimes I wish this love will come to an end
For I cannot endure the pain
The wounds, I cannot mend
But my love for you won't go away
For now, I'll just have to pretend

My Sweet Silly
You're my sweet silly
Lingering in my memory
My sweet sweet darling
That until now I'm still loving
You're my chocolate bar
In the night, my star
My very sweetheart
In my dreams, we'll never part
You're my sunshine and sweetie pie
Come sing me a lullaby
Honey bunch, dearie
You'll always be my baby
I guess I was in a very cheesy mood.

No One To Blame
Just when I thought I had you
You, dear, had gone, too
Then I realized it was my fault
That made our love come to a halt
Why is it that when you have it all
Suddenly, you take a fall
Into a pit that tears you down
Turning your smile into a frown
Why is it that it has just begun
But we barely even counted after one
When everything was perfect
Who knew there was a defect
After losing one, you lose another one
When will I learn to keep someone
As close as he can to my heart
So we won't ever fall apart
But you cannot take back
And it's now too late to act
The hurt has been planted
The love has been wasted
Is it too much to ask for another chance?
Another day, just another chance
So I could change and make things right
Because I won't give up without a fight
I love you
What I say is true
But I'm not perfect and never will
Things won't change the way I feel
First love never dies, that's what I'm after
But the second, does he have to suffer
For the consequences that come
When the first doesn't come undone?
Love is a complicated matter
Trying to say these words without having to falter
Over words that have been dying to be heard
But releasing them is just absurd
There is no one left to blame but me
The shame I feel as I drop to my knee
And wish for you to come back to me
But there is no one to blame but me

Once Call Mine
I remember in the past
You told me I would be your last
Or was it just like your first
Just to satisfy your thirst
I miss those sunny days
Days before we parted ways
When I used to kiss you tender
When you were, and I was your lover
There's this one thing I remember
We used to believe in forever
But it's over, isn't it?
Hope for us, not one bit?
I guess those memories will stay
I'll remember them everyday
Remember what we used to be
Memories; they'll forever haunt me
But it cheers me, for you're still my friend
Please stay until the end
Oh, no, you won't ever be mine
But being best friends will give me peace of mind
I wonder how we get along
When we've been lovers for so long
Almost too long to forget
Or is it to regret?
But to leave you as a friend, I won't
And to eave me again, please don't
Or I'll cry night and day
To bring you back, I'll pray
It makes me sad to think our time together has ended
That we broke all the promises we said
But that's okay, we'll move on
Just let go, but hold on
Let go of who we were before
As we stare at the cold, dull floor
But hold on, don't lose hope
Don't give up, just cope
We'll meet and maybe we'll hold hands
And maybe it won't be that bad
A kiss on the cheek, just like before
But that tingly feeling, we'll feel no more
I'll look at you, maybe I'll laugh
And give you a smile that's only half
Because as I look at you, I'll keep in mind
That you were someone who I could once call mine

Regret
Regret, an awfully sad word
That has turn upside down my world
It has tossed my heart far away
Making me lonely from day to day
I cannot blame anyone, though
For I am to blame for my own sorrow
Leaving you wasn't as easy as I thought
And look at the pain it has brought
I guess you really should think things over
Not judge them by a simple hangover
Think before it's too late
Think before they close the gate
Because once it's gone, there's no taking back
All the colors will turn to black
What was once yours is now gone
Then you'll have to go back to one
Regret, it is always too late
When the outcome has already been handed over to fate
And now, I'll just have to accept it
What was once mine, I have neglected

Steal
All those tears I shed for you
Is now nothing but morning dew
Among the rosy petals
Shimmering like crystals
When we said goodbye
The last time I did cry
Though my heart still mourns
When I'm alone and forlorn
It still hurts inside
That's when I try to hide
Hide the bitterness in me
When I hear your sweet melody
You were mine and I was yours
You told me I would ride on your horse
And you called me your princess
And you were my fortress
Why is it that nothing lasts forever?
That forever turns to never?
The truth hurts more than I thought
Happiness, how is it bought?
When all that will be is now should have been
When all we wanted is just a dream we've seen
When we dreamed under the stars
When all that's left are ugly scars
How can I forget when there's too many?
When you're still the one I want to marry?
When all I wanted is now lost?
I would pay almost any cost
Because I want you back
I want you back
Though the pain still hurts inside
I am willing to stay by your side
Cause my heart won't beat for anyone
Except for you, there is no one
And if I could turn back time
I'd do anything to make you mine
For everything is now lost
Under the same cost
Love you, yes, I do still
And your heart, I will try once more to steal

Still A Song
Some things just won't end
Even when stars fall and trees bend
Some things just won't finish
Even when hope is gone and all you can do is wish
Some people just won't go
Even when they're bleeding and've been hurt so
Some people just want to hold on
Even when there's no choice but to move on
Because some things are just to precious
Some things are just too memorable
Some things can never be forgotten
Some things just don't end
Here I am, still holding on
And yes, it's been so long
But our love is a never ending song
It used to be a duet
But it's alright
As long as there's a solo
There's still a song
